Tumbleweed get on the new stuff in Qld this November...

When 90’s Australian stoner rock legends Tumbleweed decided to reform a few years ago, nobody knew how long the reunion would last, least of all Tumbleweed themselves. Initially it was a nostalgia trip and a way of tying some loose ends, but the sound and energy was just too right and it was hard to put an end date on it so the reunion became a resurrection.
There is something about the chemistry between the original members, that makes it a vital creative force and it was just a matter of time before they began to write together again. Dissatisfied with the majority of their back catalogue, the aim with the new album was to make the record they always wished they had made.

Enlisting the services of Paul McKercher who had also produced “Galactaphonic”, Tumbleweed began recording their new album at Rancom studio in Sydney, a studio oozing valves and analogue and 2 inch tape, the sound is warm and fuzzy and raw and the result is AWESOME!

13 songs that pretty much make the old songs sound like….well… old songs. This is New! this is Now! This is still Tumbleweed, the same ingredients but, it is A NEW BREED OF WEED.
With the beds down and the songs recorded, Tumbleweed will be hitting the road for a couple of special shows to give their freaky fans a sneak peak of some of the new stuff before finishing off the album.
